Dana White stated today the UFC’s intentions to enter Japan before the end of 2011. This comes as the organization is making an attempt to expand worldwide.
While Japan has seen a recent decline in interest in the sport, the UFC is likely trying to reignite what was lost as Pride began to decline. This could prove to be a huge catalyst in Japan, or it could end up costing Zuffa a ton of money (which it will anyway) and have little payoff.
