Kristi Lopez is officially MMA’s Jennifer Beals. Lopez probably has some steel welding skills and a lovable dog named Grunt watches over her as she trains for her next Invicta FC fight. After perfecting the scenes from the movie Flash Dance, Lopez is now almost obligated to walkout to “Flashdance… What a Feeling” at Invicta FC 11.
In the MMA version of Flash Dance, Lopez must work at a steel-mill by day and a shady local Karate dojo by night. Lopez one day dreams of fighting in Invicta FC. There will be montages featuring early 1980s love songs, Lopez will fall in, out, and back in love, and the final scene will feature Lopez winning her fight at Invicta FC 11. Throw in a few more montages, a sassy best friend for comedy relief, an evil rival promoter, of course this dance scene, and MMA has another Hollywood blockbuster on its hands.
