Apparently a few people at Reddit are under the delusion that everyone at MiddleEasy are journalists and we have ‘lost our journalistic integrity.’ That’s quite a bummer because we love those guys over at Reddit, but to think that we are journalists is just an extremely silly notion. This happens maybe once a year — someone out there accuses us of being journalists then immediately says that we’ve lost ‘journalistic integrity.’ Newsflash, folks — you’re on MiddleEasy. We have a background of an image of Dan Hardy chainsawing A T-800 Terminator. When’s the last time you saw that on something like CNN?
We are writers that love to write and fortunately for us, people love to read it. According to our traffic, every month even more people love reading it — regardless of the incoherent tangents we occasionally go on. As far as our commenters, we can’t control them — nor do we want to. They represent the unadulterated, free-flowing thought in the MMA universe. If you would like that thought censored, then go to another site.
With that said, keep the pot stirring with controversy. You’re only helping us out — and we thank you for it.
