In an attempt to confuse all zoologists, Vitor Belfort says he's a 'T-Rex in a new jungle'

This TRT stuff apparently has the ability to transmute human beings to different creatures, even ones that have been extinct for millions of years. We could loosely buy into the fact that Vitor Belfort claimed he was an ‘old lion’ fighting in the jungle despite an incredible lack of evidence suggesting that Belfort has the ability to shape shift. However, now that Vitor Belfort claims he’s elevated from a lion to a tyrannosaurus rex in a ‘new jungle’ — I think we have to call BS on this.

The Tyrannosaurus Rex hails from the Cretaceous period which was about 150 million years ago in what is now known as North America. The T-Rex lived in states like Montana, Colorado, New Mexico, and Wyoming, as well as parts of Canada like Alberta and Saskatchewan. There’s no documentation of a T-Rex ever existing in the area now known as Rio de Janeiro, Brazil — Vitor Belfort’s birthplace. If Vitor Belfort is indeed spliced with T-Rex DNA or has the ability to mutate into one at will, it would make more sense if he hailed from the upper part of North America.

It’s also important to note that the T-Rex did not inhabit jungles. Not at all. The T-Rex’s environment was surrounded by volcanoes and palm trees, as depicted in this artist’s scientific rendition.

Without further proof that Vitor Belfort is in fact a T-Rex, we’re going to assume that he’s actually a human being. Despite that blatant fact, check out this UFC on Fuel TV interview of Belfort stating that he’s a dinosaur from the Cretaceous period living in a non-indigenous habitat.
