Imani Lee becomes the first person to challenge Minowaman to a rematch

Minowaman, the first genetically engineered minnow/human hybrid. If he were a member of the Justice League of America, he could ride shotgun with Aquaman. Minowaman, coming to a bait shop near you. If those M.U.S.C.L.E.S toys from the 90s ever needed a human representative, I would promptly refer them to Minowaman. He’s the only guy that could rock knee-high red boots and underwear besides Bas Rutten, King Slender and that chick who told you she was a ‘Pro’ (then you asked what type of professional athlete she was and your friend had to pull you aside and tell you what ‘pro’ meant, thank you CJ).

At Dream 14, Ikuhisa Minowa hopped in the White Cage with James Toney’s former training partner, Imani Lee, who came in at some super-humanly massive weight (320lbs at the weigh-in). Despite Imani’s gargantuan size and cool name, he succumbed to Minowaman’s submission like all of those who came before him. Early in the first round, Minowaman managed to take down Imani and remained on top of him until he took Lee’s back and flattened him out with a rear-naked choke late in the first round. Imani Lee lost to the current Super Hulk belt holder which is a great honor in some third world countries.

We caught up with Imani (who now trains at Cesar Gracie jiu-jitsu) and saying the guy holds some resentment towards Japan and Minowaman is an understatement.
