Ilia Topuria opened up about what he felt when he first saw Conor McGregor in the flesh at UFC 264.

Conor has “Black Energy”

Speaking to Glamtera Visiuals, “El Matador” described McGregor’s presence as something dark and negative. According to Topuria, he could be wrong but he didn’t like to be near “Notorious” the whole time.

“Super bad vibes. Look. Analyzing people as human beings, let’s look at Conor. A guy, his wife, his children, his family, I can’t give an opinion. I don’t know how these people are. He might be an excellent person and I perceived his energy in a different way from what it is,” the reigning featherweight champion said via English subtitle.

“He simply came to work to put on a show but the feeling I had when he was around was: Keep him away! Keep him away! Just a terrible energy. I swear, it felt like his aura came from hell, you know what I’m saying? I want to be away from this dude, he has black energy, I had never felt that before,” he added.

Ilia vows to break Conor

Understandably, McGregor and Topuria don’t see each other eye to eye. As a former featherweight champion himself, “Notorious” unapologetically said that he isn’t impressed with Topuria’s skils.

As expected, “El Matador” fired back at McGregor and swore to destroy McGregor once they cross paths once again. With that in mind, Topuria even wants McGregor to pray that they never see each other again.
