If you liked Battlestar Galactica then you’re going to love Josh Barnett’s Twitter account this weekend

Massive props to the writers of Battlestar Galactica for embracing the ‘ancient astronaut’ theory and incorporating it in the series finale of the show. I’m not much of a Galactica fanboy, but I did watch every episode of the last series and fortunately for my interest, the path of MMA and Battlestar Galactica have finally crossed. Before I tell you that Katee Sackhoff will take over Josh Barnett’s Twitter this Saturday while he fights Brett Rogers at the American Air — ah damn, I just told you guys. Well, before I tell you anymore, I’m hoping someone out there will answer a few questions that I have regarding the final episodes of the show.

What was up with the visions of Starbuck’s dad playing the piano, and what did that song mean? How did everyone know it? Was Starbuck a cyclon? When she went to earth and found her dead body, crashed in the ship — what was up with that? Why was earth familiar to everyone? On the last episode when they had that huge power surge and people died, what exactly happened? I understand that Battlestar Galactica implied that humanity was created by a race of alien machines, but were they also trapped in some time loop?

Dammit, I know this site reaches an audience of tens of thousands daily, I need some answers. Please, take some time out of your day to shed some light on my ignorance.

This Saturday Katee Sackhoff, or ‘Starbuck’ from Battlestar Galactica, will tweet on Josh Barnett’s Twitter account as he competes in the first round of the Strikeforce Heavyweight Grand-Prix. Katee will also be tweeting photos, so if you’re a sexually deprived male, you definitely don’t want to miss it. You can take my word for it, or read the press release here. Be sure to follow Josh Barnett and Katee Sackhoff on Twitter. [Source]
