The Wire is a great show, but Breaking Bad is better — but they’re different shows — but everyone should stop comparing them. However, if you did — then Breaking Bad would undoubtedly win. Let’s face it, overall the writing is just a tad more brilliant than The Wire. When it comes to suspense, it’s not even a contest. The tension created by Jesse Pinkman and Walter White will be talked about decades after the show has been wrapped up. If you don’t think Breaking Bad is the greatest show on television, then you’re obviously living under some grand illusion that The Walking Dead is better than what it actually is. Go play the video game — it’s far superior than the television show.
