Is Lando Vannata our new favorite fighter? Last night Vannata made his UFC debut on short notice versus perennial top five lightweight Tony Ferguson and his strategy of not giving a fuck was the best thing we saw all week. After an UFC International Fight week full of three events in three nights, nobody knew if the MMA world was ready for another UFC branded fight card so soon.
According to Lando Vannata we need UFC fights like his every night if humanly possible. A member of the JacksonWink MMA fight team in New Mexico, Vannata somehow came out of nowhere to give Ferguson the fight of his life. The highlight of the night came when Vannata completely no sold Ferguson’s superman punch right on the kisser.
