Hey, Vitor Belfort can do weird Brazilian commercials too

The last time I published an article about a UFC fighter appearing in a commercial, it was for the ‘Battle of the Bayou’ card which featured Jon Jones and Dana White enjoying a cold Budweiser. In retrospect, I guess that really didn’t go well for Bones. One could say that it even backfired on the UFC light heavyweight champion. Let’s hope that after appearing in this Gillette commercial, Vitor Belfort doesn’t grab a machete and go on a methodical killing spree on the beaches of Rio de Janeiro. Actually, I wouldn’t care if Belfort became a mass murderer. With ‘bath salt violence’ on the rise, the planet’s sensitization level for overly complex violence has lowered. There was a time when a naked man gnawing off the face of another naked man in the middle of the street would be too disturbing for society to handle — now it’s a friggin internet meme.

But really, if Vitor Belfort does start slicing faces off with a razor on the streets of Brazil, we hope that it’s as bizarre and hilarious as this new Gillette commercial below.
