Back injuries are the worst. Look MiddleEasy’s weight lifting and body building section never really got off the ground but damn it looks like Matt Mitrione is going to mess up his back.
Here’s video of Mitrione working out for his upcoming Bellator Grand Prix fight with Ryan Bader. Maybe Mitrione won’t twist his spine doing this exercise or maybe Bader should only work on techniques that involve making his opponent use all his lower back muscles.
Until Mitrione hurts himself lifting weights, let’s watch him do this exercise and not throw his back out.
