Oh my word, Zoro Moreira has definitely been paying attention to the world class Muay Thai coaching over at Evolve MMA. Instead of shooting for a takedown or working a trip from the clinch, Zoro’s best method of getting the fight to the mat was to simply but brutally blast the lead leg from under Enomoto with a disgusting kick. I thought we were going to see yet another rear naked choke but Enomoto defended, forcing Zoro to switch to an arm bar on Enomoto’s left arm and it only took a few seconds until Zoro was on his feet celebrating his submission victory in the main event at ONE FC. What an event!
