Here’s your cartwheel kick KO for the day

Guys, Peter Aerts is “retired” now, whether it’s a real retirement or just one he’ll come out of in a few years, it’s a sad day. It seems as if there have been a lot of retirements from huge superstars lately, Mariano Rivera, Dario Franchitti, at the end of this season Teemu Selanne will retire #TEEMUFOREVER. We could possibly see Jaromír Jágr’s historic career, although there’s a chance we could luck out and see him play for a few more years since he’s recently been quoted saying “I’ll play until I cannot walk.”

It’s a hard life being a fan of a pro fighter, I mean sure, Jaromír Jágr is my favorite hockey player of all time. I couldn’t help but cheer for him even though he was playing for the Boston Bruins and I LOATHE the Bruins. There are few things in life that I openly view negatively and wish for negative outcomes, because honestly, I being negative just takes too much effort. With that in mind, I want the Bruins to go 0-82, every single one of my friends is a Boston Bruins fan. They always let me know how they are doing and they always remind me how the New York Rangers haven’t won a Stanley Cup since 1994. I can only put up with so much before I sink my teeth into their neck and begin to rip their jugular out with my very own teeth, as everyone else watches on in fear. That day isn’t that far off by the way, with the way the Rangers are playing, that day just inches closer and closer.

Oh where was I? Oh yea, being a fan of a pro fighter is difficult, at a certain point there isn’t always a “next year.” No matter what happens, the New York Rangers aren’t going anywhere, even though this season looks like a loss, there is a next year for them that I can look forward to. There isn’t a next year for Peter Aerts, there’s a good chance he’s done for good and that’s sad.

The only equivalent to having one of your favorite fighters retire, is taking a perfectly placed cartwheel kick to the jaw.
