So if MMA ever got a Saturday morning cartoon series it would have to star Mark Hunt, Roy Nelson, Brock Lesnar, and Fedor as a mystery solving garage band. From the part of your soul that houses your inner child we have Hunt, Nelson, Lesnar, and Fedor forming a rock band and teaming up with Japanese pop singer Mai Kuraki.
This and this alone (and soccer kicks) is why Pride should never die. Pride would’ve happily nurtured and supported these four heavyweights out of the ring activities.
“So we have this heavyweight grand prix scheduled but you four want to skip it so you can hit the road, tour the Japanese countryside, play pop-rock music, and solve mysteries along the way?”
“……yes”
“Ok, we can work around that.”
With Roy Nelson on lead guitar, Mark Hunt on bass, Brock Lesnar on drums, and Fedor playing tunes on his keyboard is there anything these four MMA heavyweight friends can’t do? No. No, there is not. Cheers to friendship! (All four fighters jump to high-five each other at the same time in slow motion)
