Poor Cat Zingano, she should be in Las Vegas right now, possibly picking her TUF 18 team, or at the very least researching the people she hopes to be on her side of the TUF 18 competition, but no — fate has decided to take her knee and twist it to a tangled mess of tendons and muscle. Now she’s stuck in a hoodie on a bed with a interesting contraption that cools her leg to the degree she prefers that will also aid her in her injury’s recovery. Cat Zingano is close to part machine, but only close. And what happened to her team research? Out the window. Wasted time. Damn.
Who knows what could’ve been in the fight with Ronda Rousey, maybe one day it will happen, and until that day, we hope Cat Zingano makes a full recovery. We’re down to watch a Miesha Tate rematch too now that I think about it.
