If Jose Aldo and Marco Ruas were watching the Strikeforce main event together last night between Nate Marquardt and Tarec Saffiedine, it was probably one of the happiest living rooms in Brazil. No doubt they were pleased over the free Showtime weekend (they LOVE The Vatican), but that, coupled with a leg kick clinic by Saffiedine that the human race hasn’t witnessed since Aldo/Faber or Ruas/Varelans, the evening was elevated into a bromantical leg-kick heaven filled with shadow-kicking technique appraisals and the clinking of celebratory glasses of acai juice, the liquid spilling over the rim joyously.
Tarec Saffiedine kicked Nate Marquardt in the leg so many times we lost count three times over. This is the damage that will no doubt look even worse soon.
