Thanks for the memories Mike. For the past 12 years, Michael Bisping was one of the UFC’s most reliable fighters. Win or lose, The Count was never in a boring fight and he always brought enough trash talk to fill the cups of both corners.
Including his two wins on The Ultimate Fighter 3, Michael Bisping went 22-9 inside the Octagon. Oh and Mike once knocked Luke Rockhold senseless in the first round on his way to capturing the UFC’s 185 pound title. It also should be noted on Bisping’s LinkedIn profile that he won the Rockhold title fight as a late replacement for Chris Weidman and stepped into the cage on two weeks notice.
Bisping is now retired and he was a rare breed of fighter that we may not see every much of in the era of Reebok and ESPN deals transforming the UFC into something very different.
