I still play UFC 3 and EA MMA on the regular (or on the ‘reg’ as the kids are saying it on street corners these days), and Lyoto Machida is my alpha/omega. I created a new member of the Machida clan in EA MMA who drinks so much pee he actually wets the bed, which turns into a weird circular psychological issue that sends the fake Machida into a deep depression resulting in a losing streak. Then he abuses urine (resorting to injecting it), moves down a weight class, disappears for a few years, only to make it back for a triumphant return at the end of his career where he enters a winner take all tournament his brother, Kurt Angle, Bane, Nick Nolte and Kevin Randleman join. My fake Machida wins the tournament and smiles a bright, responsible, urine drinker smile. Animated sparkle on his tooth at the end and all.
In UFC 3 I just can’t beat Lyoto Machida. Even on the easier difficulties. Super frustrating.
It’s this rawesomeness of Machida-ocity that probably drew Glover Teixeira to Lyoto and his knowledge. With longtime friend Chuck Liddell in tow, Glover stepped into the Black House to prepare for his UFC on FOX fight against Rampage Jackson this Saturday.
