Get ready for longer PPVs, from now on ALL main event fights in the UFC will be five rounds

Starting today, some Harvard nerd will lock their selves in whatever miniature dorm room they reside in and spend the rest of the week writing lines of code to create a computer program that will simulate the last ten years of UFC with every main event fight being five rounds. The nerd, and he will be a nerd, will make a website proclaiming how the history of UFC would have to be retroactively changed with this new rule change — and he may have a point.

According to MMAJunkie’s John Morgan, Dana White announced that not only will 125lb divisions be a reality, but that starting now, all main events will be five rounds except Davis vs. Evans since that bout is already signed. Now pick up your jaw from your desk and clean up the droll. [Source]
