While I browsed the interwebs for proof of a Guida vs Gomi fight this morning, I couldn’t help but marvel at the translations of comments Google Translator came up with on MMA Ironman. The translated comments on the article include things like “effective long hair cuticle Guida” and “…Guida dyed red in the face with disheveled hair and scales”. This sounds like a scene out of a battle scene from Clash of the Titans.
Clay Guida has been hinting at an upcoming fight announcement with tweets like “Looking forward to my next fight…It’s a big one!!” and “Guess who I am fighting next!!!????”. Some have said it could be BJ Penn, but Guida seemed to know who his next opponent was only two days after UFC 118.
This morning Guida pretty much confirmed it was Gomi when he tweeted this:
