Former UFC fighter Gerald Harris has inked a mult-fight deal with DREAM according to Sherdog.com’s Chris Nelson. Harris will likely be fighting at DREAM 17, an event set to take place September 24th and will be the first event of the year to be a full scale event. As you recall, the two prior event have been toned down, held within smaller venues with minimal production effects.
Harris was let go by the UFC following a loss to Maiquel Falcao which baffled many in the fight world due to the fact the fighter had tallied up a 3-0 record leading into the fight. Since leaving the UFC, Harris has had mixed results going 1-1, losing to recently turned welterweight James Head and picking up a win against Anthony Ruiz by way of decision.
