Sometimes when I need to write or cover an event, I buy a NOS because ‘it makes my heart and brain go crazy.’ That’s it. I revealed part of my writing method. NOS makes me understand why Bret Easton Ellis did so much blow in the 80’s, or why Hunter S. Thompson was huffing amyls. Sometimes, writers just need extreme jolts of power through their system in order to crank out the words. And frankly, sometimes coffee just won’t do it.
Now NOS with it’s insane amounts of sugar and other questionable chemicals are helping fighters in the cage. I’m not sure if the somewhat delicious beverage is making their hearts and brains go crazy, but it sure is making this director’s heart go crazy.
