Gable Steveson has his second UFC assignment. The Olympic wrestling gold medalist is set to face Sean Sharaf at UFC 331 on Sept. 19 at Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles.
The booking is one of three additions to the card. Robelis Despaigne vs. Tai Tuivasa gives UFC 331 another heavyweight bout, while Ryan Gandra vs. Ozzy Diaz joins the lineup at middleweight. The event is scheduled to stream on Paramount+.
UFC 331 already has Brian Ortega vs. Renato Moicano 2 and Casey O’Neill vs. Eduarda Moura attached, so the new batch gives the Los Angeles card more heavyweight depth before the top of the lineup is finalized.

Steveson Gets A Fast UFC Turnaround
Steveson is 4-0 in MMA after knocking out Elisha Ellison at UFC 329. That fight ended at 2:31 of Round 1, and all four of Steveson’s pro MMA wins have come before the four-minute mark.
Sharaf enters at 4-2. His UFC run opened with knockout losses to Junior Tafa and Steven Asplund, so the matchup gives him a chance to reset while giving Steveson another heavyweight opponent with Octagon experience.
Tuivasa Also Lands On UFC 331
Despaigne returns to the UFC at 6-2 after stopping Junior dos Santos on MVP’s first MMA card in May. Tuivasa is 14-10 and trying to break a seven-fight UFC losing streak after his latest defeat led to a public statement on the Louie Sutherland loss.
Gandra brings a 10-1 record into the Diaz fight after back-to-back UFC knockouts of Jose Medina and Zach Reese, including his 75-second finish at UFC 329. Diaz is 10-4 and coming off a loss to Ateba Gautier.
For Steveson, the Sharaf booking creates a quick two-sport stretch. He still has an RAF 12 wrestling match against Tony Cassioppi on Aug. 22 before returning to the Octagon at UFC 331.
