Freddie Roach says that Anderson Silva is too big for GSP

The boxing hall of fame would be a boring place if Freddie Roach wasn’t hanging out with the remainder the greatest fighters in the world when they do their annual inductions. MMA fans would argue that it’s a boring place to be regardless of whether or not Freddie Roach was there because Boxing isn’t as dynamic or multi-dimensional a sport as MMA, but that’s not true. If it were, there’d be no explanation why the best strikers in MMA all find their way into the Wildcard gym in Los Angeles, CA to hone their striking with the legendary boxing trainer. Freddie Roach has seen it all, and he’s made great strikers even better. He’s also about as honest and up-front as anyone you’ll ever meet; and in his opinion, Freddie doesn’t feel GSP moving up to meet Anderson Silva is a good idea. If this was anyone else, we could move onto another topic and let this slide, but we’re going to spin around in our IKEA desk chairs and contemplate this for the next few months as ‘experts’ from around the world of combat sports debate why this fight should/shouldn’t happen. In the meantime, check out LayzieTheSavage’s recent interview with Freddie Roach and proceed to troll one another in the comments section below.
