Frankie Edgar tells us if he really wanted to, he could make 135 lbs

Frankie Edgar is the only human being on the face of the earth to ever stop Gray Maynard in an MMA bout. Well, that’s if you disregard Nate Diaz’s gully choke over The Bully in The Ultimate Fighter Season Five. It’s a shame those matches don’t count towards their respective professional MMA records — because Nate Diaz would have derailed the Maynard Frate Trane back in 2007. However, I think we should all take off our hats to Frankie Edgar for shutting up a large portion of people on The Underground and the Sherdog forums after they complained the former UFC lightweight champion can only win via decision. If you don’t have a hat, just pretend like you have one and then take it off. Your friends may think you’re peeling out imaginary hair from your head, but you know what’s going down — and that’s all that matters.

We’re still awaiting Frankie Edgar’s move to the featherweight division after the injury fairy defecated on every available square inch of UFC 153. However, we recently caught up with Frankie Edgar and he told us that if he really wanted to, he could make 135 lbs.
