Curtis Blaydes Is Getting A Chance To Avenge His Loss Against Francis Ngannou
A heavyweight rematch between Curtis Blaydes and knockout artist Francis Ngannou targeted for the main event of UFC Beijing at the Cadillac Arena on Nov. 24. The news first reported by ESPN.
Curtis Blaydes vs. Francis Ngannou is scheduled to be the main event for the 11/24 card in Beijing, China, per sources. The fight has been agreed to but not yet signed. Story coming to @espn.

According to MMAFighting, both fighter verbally agreed to fight as this showdown is a rematch of their April 10, 2016 contest where Blaydes he lost the bout via second-round TKO due to a doctor stoppage.
Since that loss, Blaydes who’s riding on five straight winning streaks, with one of his TKO wins over Adam Milstead turned to no contest after being tested positive for marijuana. He holds a signature wins this year over the likes of Alistair Overeem and Mark Hunt.
Ngannou who’s on a two-fight skid, and looking to add a win when he meets Blaydes in November. ‘The Predator’ had a chance to win the title at UFC 220, but he was dismantled by then champion Stipe Miocic. Then that followed up by another decision loss against Derrick Lewis at UFC 226. Ngannou came under heavy criticism for a disappointing performance. Afterward, he admitted that he was carrying the fear from his last loss against Miocic.
UFC Fight Night 141 is set to take place at Cadillac Arena in Beijing on Nov. 24.
