Francis Ngannou is looking for a bout with Tyson Fury while Jake Paul has his back.

When Francis Ngannou came to the UFC back in 2015 he was dubbed the next best thing at heavyweight. His immense power and athleticism set him apart from the rest of the division and he quickly rose to fight for his first UFC heavyweight championship title. Unfortunately for him, he lost that title shot to Stipe Miocic and followed it up with another loss to Derrick Lewis. Ngannou was quickly able to turn it around and eventually became the UFC champion. After a bout of negotiation issues, Ngannou decided to leave the UFC and has recently signed with a PFL. Now he is looking for a boxing match against heavyweight champion Tyson Fury, all the while being put down by his former boss Dana White.

White was very high on Ngannou when he first came to the UFC. He claimed he was the baddest man on the planet and sang his praises regularly. Upon the departure, White has made a 180 and is now diminishing the accolades of Ngannou. Another enemy of White, Jake Paul is taking on his side and speaking out against White’s comments.

Jake Paul recently signed an agreement with PFL as well. He is planning on making his MMA debut in the future and will be featured on the pay-per-view portion of PFL‘s roster. The same will be said for Ngannou, who is looking to try out boxing first but then will return to MMA at an undisclosed time and also will be featured on the pay-per-view portion of PFL

White also claims that he is interested in making a fight between Fury and champion Jon Jones. He wants that bout to take place in the UFC and with MMA rules. Ngannou is looking to set in his own offer and is offering to box Tyson Fury under his own rules.

It seems like a lot of back-and-forth between White, Paul, Ngannou, and Fury and indeed none of these parties seem closer to any bout agreements. Ngannou seems 100% focused on a boxing match next whether that be against Fury or one of the other heavyweights he has called out. Paul will be fighting another former UFC fighter, Nate Diaz next. It seems the line between the UFC and boxing is becoming even more blurred than it already is.
