Francis Ngannou is taking his beef with UFC president Dana White public with new Twitter posts.

Former UFC champion Francis Ngannou has found a new MMA home. He recently signed a deal with The Professional Fighters League. This deal was a long time coming as Ngannou left the UFC at the beginning of this year and has been testing free agency since. After negotiating with a couple of different organizations, Ngannou seems happy with his PFL deal. He will now be featured in the PFL PPV division and will not have to fight until next year. Ngannou had a few other stipulations that he wanted, he wants the opportunity to box and he has been given a seat at the table with PFL’s efforts in Africa. Needless to say, he is a happy man.

Despite Ngannou finding a new great fit to continue his MMA career, there are still some people upset that he left the UFC. Fans wanted to see him up against Jon Jones, a fight that may never happen. UFC president Dana White has been super critical of Ngannou and his decisions since leaving the UFC. He most recently addressed the situation in a post-fight press conference.

Francis Ngannou doesn’t understand why Dana White has a problem with his career choices

White explained that he goes not understand Ngannou’s thoughts at this time and questioned the PFL deal. He accused him of avoiding the tough fights and choosing an easy way out. He also claimed that his boxing dream was ultimately just that, a dream. Now Ngann0u is firing back at his former boss on social media.

“What is your problem with me?” he wrote on Twitter.” 1. I completed my contract, was a free agent, and chose to walk away. You didn’t release me. 2. I hate taking risks? That’s why I defended my title to fulfill my contract with no ACL or MCL? 3. The reason I fought three times in three years is because you wanted to control my deal and sign a new one. And freeze me out. “I owe these guys three fights a year.” Isn’t that what you say? What happened? I always asked for & never said no to any fight in the 3 years. I’m finally getting paid and respected, and have a deal that’s fair and equal for all parties. Why are you so against me being free and happy?”

Ngannou seems to want to end the beef between himself and White. He is happy in his new position and thinks that White should be happy for him. White has mentioned before that he does not intend to do business with Ngannou ever again so why not let it go? Jones could be heading into his retirement fight and it will not be against Ngannou. It seems that both parties should move on in their own directions and let it be.
