Francis Ngannou Looks Tiny In Comparison To NBA Legend
UFC Heavyweight Francis Ngannou is one of the biggest, scariest fighters in the world. However, even he looks small next to Shaq.
Francis Ngannou is a pure UNIT. Standing 6’4″, and built like a brick house, he is one of the UFC’s biggest monsters. He has the power in his hands to support it too, with massive knockout wins over Cain Velasquez, and Alistair Overeem to back it up. He outsizes almost every single opponent he faces in the Octagon.
Though, like they say, there’s always someone bigger. It was made clear by this Instagram post that NBA star Shaquille O’Neal dwarfs Ngannou. O’Neal, who stands 7’1″ and weighs roughly 325lbs, was at the UFC Performance Institute when he ran into Francis Ngannou.
“Walking in the @ufcpi and ran into a monster and almost ran away, then I realized it was @shaq. I think this is the very first time that somebody has made me look so little.”
Francis Ngannou is right, though. It is rare for him to be outsized like this. Standing next to Shaq, he looks like the little brother that Shaq was forced to pick up from school. It is quite the odd sight to see.
Seeing this kind of thing makes you wonder what it would be like if Shaq had done MMA instead. An athlete of his skill level would have been quite the wrecking machine. It is hard to imagine a place that would be as fitting of his size as Pride, circa 2002.
Imagine a world where Shaq made it to the UFC and fought Francis Ngannou. What a crazy idea.
