Former WWE Superstar CM Punk Slated Against Mike Jackson At UFC 225

Rumors run rampant for months that Mike Jackson would be the man to face CM Punk the former WWE star at UFC 225. After leaving WWE back in January 2014, Punk crossover into the world of mixed martial arts, signing a deal with UFC later that year. Finally, CM Punk made his UFC debut in September of 2016 against Mickey Gall and suffered a quick first-round submission loss at UFC 203. Since then he hasn’t competed inside the octagon.

UFC president Dana White recently revealed that Punk will be given another chance to prove himself inside the Octagon.

UFC has officially announced on Thursday, April 12, that CM Punk will take on Mike Jackson at the upcoming UFC 225 pay-per-view (PPV) event in Chicago, Illinois on June 9, 2018.

Mike Jackson has had one professional fight where he came up short against Nickey Gall back in February 2016.

Jackson has one thing in common with CM Punk: a loss to Gall in his only professional MMA bout.

Do you think Punk can defeat Jackson at UFC 225?
