Floyd Mayweather Jr Scolds Khabib Nurmagomedov For UFC 229 Post-Fight Incident

Floyd Mayweather Jr: “Khabib Nurmagomedov, You Need To Conduct Like A True Professional”

Floyd Mayweather Jr became a hot topic again after Khabib Nurmagomedov challenged him for a boxing match. Money didn’t hesitate to accept undefeated Dagestani’s offer. The legendary boxer has the score of 50-0, while the MMA superstar won 27 fights in a row!

Yet, it looks like Floyd Mayweather Jr didn’t like Khabib’s behavior following UFC 229 submission victory over Conor McGregor. Money scolded him for the disgraceful act inside T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada. He said Khabib Nurmagomedov needs to learn what does the true professional mean. (via MMAFighting.com)

“I see on IG and on social media, he put, I think, he’ll fight, but he don’t want to fight in Vegas,” Mayweather told TMZ. “Of course we know, Vegas is the fighting capital, and after the fight, you have to conduct yourself like a true professional, not just in the ring, but outside of the ring also. You must conduct yourself like a professional, and it was a big melee. I haven’t had a chance to see it, but from what I heard it was a crazy melee.”

Floyd Mayweather Jr is interested in the showdown versus The Eagle but only if it happens in the boxing ring. But Money wants nothing less than nine-figure payday.

“I’m Floyd Mayweather, I’m the A-side,” Mayweather said. “You called me out, you come into my world. I don’t know no other fighter that has done the numbers that I’ve done, I don’t know know other fighters who have made the money I made. So he called me out, come into my world, make it happen. When I face Khabib, of course, I make a nine-figure payday.”

Khabib said that he successfully knocked Conor McGregor down. But The Eagle also added that Floyd Mayweather Jr won The Notorious via TKO after a barrage of punches. There was no knockdowns in Mayweather Vs McGregor match!

Conor’s knee really touched the ground after Khabib’s weaving overhand right. Yet, Money didn’t look impressed about that.

“I see on the interview, when he hit Conor McGregor he knocked him down and I didn’t knock Conor McGregor down,” Mayweather said. “But, okay so Khabib, you got my leftovers. Whoop dee doo.”

There were many speculations whether the public is ready for another MMA versus boxing champion spectacle. But, Floyd Mayweather Jr claims he wants that fight. Of course, for a good payday.

“We fighting,” Mayweather said. “I’m my own boss, so I can’t say what’s going on Khabib end, but on my end, we can make it happen.

What are your thoughts on this? Would you like to see Floyd Mayweather Jr Vs Khabib Nurmagomedov boxing match? It is not too hard to predict the outcome, right?
