Rafael Fiziev is more than ready for war at UFC 286.

The rising UFC lightweight contender enters the biggest fight of his career when he takes on fight-of-the-night guarantee Justin Gaethje in London, England this weekend.

‘The Highlight’ is considered one of the most violent fighters on the UFC roster, but that doesn’t bother Fiziev one bit as he is not a stranger to hard-fought battles either.

Fiziev Wants To Eat Gaethje’s Heart

Having a similar killer instinct to Gaethje, Fiziev shares his mindset for his upcoming fight.

“I always want to smell blood on my opponent and smell his heart and eat his heart,” Fiziev told ESPN. “It’s always the same goal in a fight.”

‘A Dark Place’

For Gaethje’s goal, he wants to take the talented striker to a dark place.

“I’m willing to go through fire,” Gaethje said on UFC Embedded. “We’re going to a dark place on Saturday and I’m planning on drowning him.”

Fiziev Responds To Gaethje’s Bad Intentions

While dark places are the opposite of happy, Gaethje’s violent plans had Fiziev delighted.

“I already have [gone in dark places] before in my career. This is nothing,” Fiziev continued. “I already have somebody who talked like this before my fight with him. I’m happy he want to do it because I wait [for] like hard fight from him. I wait [for] like strong Justin. I wait [for Justin] who wanted to kill me and this make me happy.

“I’m just better than this guy. Whatever he try, if he try something, I have key for everything what he want to do to me.”

We’ll see if Rafael Fiziev has the answer for Justin Gaethje’s madness at UFC 286.
