Audio: The Five Best Quotes From the UFC 200 Media Call

The infamous pre-fight conference call. No one probably started paying attention to them until after Nick Diaz had one of the best calls in history with GSP. It’s always hard to top that, but Jon Jones, Mark Hunt, Daniel Cormier and Brock Lesnar tried.

Despite this being about the fith time Jones and Cormier are hyping up a fight between themselves, they still bring the usual heat. However, the addition of Brock Lesnar is a manly meteor from outer space. Check out the top five quotes from the call.

“I really don’t give a shit.” – Brock Lesnar

This is the kind of response you get from Brock Lesnar when you ask him how his UFC fights will affect his WWE drawing power. He doesn’t care what Stephanie McMahon says either. Lesnar is Conor McGregor-ing the WWE right now, well, like before McGregor got choked out by Nate Diaz. All Lesnar cares about is money and spilling blood on any type of canvas surface or in the hunting woods.

“Son, I’ve lived life and I’ve been here longer, so yes, in age I’m 37 but I’m 37. I haven’t burnt it at both ends to become middle-aged man at 28 years old.” – Daniel Cormier

After this, Cormier went on to say Jones looked like “garbage” in the Octagon during his fight with OSP. For some reason, Cormier is purposing the theory that Jones’ party life has aged him like dog years. It’s true that Jones’ has been through a whole hell of a lot, but keep in mind he didn’t even train for Alexander Gustafsson and was in the Charlie Sheen height of his heyday. The back and forth about “candles” during this was gold.

“I’m a white boy and I’m jacked. Deal with it.” – Brock Lesnar

Have you seen this man? Of course, Lesnar has probably endured steroid accusations since he was in middle school. It doesn’t bother him though. Why? Because he’s just a jacked white boy that becomes the Pink Hulk within minutes of fighting. I really hope that “Jacked White Boy” becomes the new nickname for Lesnar.

“You wanted to punish me for everything that I had done and that was too much pressure, you being my punisher was too much pressure and now you’re fighting me out of love. It makes no sense, Daniel.” – Jon Jones

After a rant by Cormier about how he was too emotionally invested in the previous fight and bitter about Jones’ trouble outside the Octagon, Jones’ came back with this. Cormier blasted back, refuting the claim that he did not, in fact, love Jon Jones. If Daniel Cormier has any marketing savvy at all, he’ll come out dressed up like The Punisher at UFC 200.

“My plan is to win back my life, my title that I never lost, defend my belt at Madison Square Garden November 12th. It’s on my vision board at my house.” – Jon Jones

Of course Jon Jones has a “vision board”. Please, MMA Twitter, open up the floodgates on the “Jon Jones Vision Board”. There is nothing for sure in this MMA game, but it is highly likely that Jones defeats Cormier at UFC 200 and if so, would set up a huge fight at MSG. …We’ll touch on that in the return of our Sunday Morning Rumor Mill this weekend.

*Honorable Mention: Mark Hunt speaking in the third person and saying he looks forward to dancing with “Big” Brock Lesnar.
