It was Big John McCarthy that invented the term ‘intelligently defending yourself’ — and it was this guy in the following video that created the term ‘defending yourself like a complete idiot.’ Note to all MMA fighters: If your last name doesn’t end in ‘Silva’ or ‘Diaz,’ you probably shouldn’t drop your hands and showboat in front of your opponent. The truth is, you’re just not that talented nor is your chin constructed to withstand nuclear explosives. You’re a normal human being, therefore you should protect the elements of your head that are the most susceptible to unplanned devastation.
