Fighter is appealing her loss due to her opponent’s spray tan, seriously you guys…

The greatest thing about living in Los Angeles is the incredible uselessness of spray tan saloons, yet the omnipresent existence of them on every corner in Hollywood. You would think a state that gets 292 days of sunshine a year could virtually eliminate the need for potentially cancerous spray-on chemicals that mimics the effect of sun exposure, yet there they are, in all of their Beverly Hills soccer mom glory.

We’re no experts on tanning at MiddleEasy. The only sunshine we get is when we emerge from our office caves to move our car to the opposite side of the street every Thursday. Could tanning oil give you an unfair advantage in a fight if your opponent wants to win by submission? No idea. Those questions are far too complex for us to answer effectively. However XFC fighter Cortney Casey is appealing her loss to Pearl Gonzalez at XFC 26 earlier this month due to her spray tan. She even shows her brown-stained fight shorts as evidence. Yeah, we’re filing this one under ‘WTF’ — but fortunately @InsideMMAaxstv already has done the administrative duties for us. Check it out.
