Fans watching UFC Tampa at home spotted a disturbing sight in the crowd.

The UFC’s final event of 2024 delivered a slew of highlight-reel moments, including Michael ‘The Menace’ Johnson who scored a vicious second-round knockout against Ottman Azaitar in the evening’s featured prelim.

However, it was what the cameras caught shortly after the KO that had everyone talking.

As the camera panned to attendees celebrating Johnson’s victory, eagle-eyes fight fans spotted something rather concerning — a young child in the crowd who appeared to be choking while (presumably) his father stood beside him completely oblivious to what was going on.

Needless to say, fans online had a variety of hilarious reactions to the above clip

“Dad has his priorities straight for sure,” one user wrote.

“He was imitating Colby in headliner fights,” another added, taking a dig at Covington’s lackluster performance against Joaquin Buckley in the UFC Tampa headliner.

“Can always have another kid,” another pointed out. “UFC Tampa though? Once in a lifetime.”

“Sorry kid, MJ is on a win streak. You understand.”

“Choking on a glizzy while the crowd chants USA at a UFC fight is what America is in 2024.”

Michael Johnson Makes It Two in a Row at UFC Tampa

With the win, Michael Johnson has now won back-to-back bouts and three of his last four. The nasty knockout of Azaitar also scored ‘The Menace’ a $50,000 performance of the night bonus

Johnson is going into his 15th year with the promotion and holds victories over some seriously impressive names, including Tony Ferguson, Gleison Tibau, Edson Barboza, Dustin Poirier, Artem Lobov, and Andre ‘Touchy’ Fili.

Overall, he is 15-15 under the UFC banner.
