A female LFA fighter miraculously survived and fought all the way to the end despite having her arm dislocated in the first round.
She didn’t tap
During an intense interim strawweight title showdown at LFA 197, the challenger, Yasmin Guimares dislocated her arm due to Natasha Kuziutina’s vicious armbar. Many thought Guimares would already tap because of how deep the armbar was but she didn’t, ultimately finishing the opening round with a broken arm.

With sheer willpower and an unwavering spirit, the Brazilian managed to reset her bone ruing the break. Some believed the fight would be stopped but Guimares insisted she was fine and continued fighting.

She almost pulled off a submission
Guimares went on and battled Kuziutina until the final round. In the final moments of the last round, Guimares even threatened to submit Kuziutina with a choke, sending the crowd into a frenzy.

In the end, Guimares’ incredible display of determination and courage weren’t enough to secure the win. Instead, Kuziutina was declared the winner via unanimous decision to retain her interim strawweight title.

The defeat saw Guimares ending her five-fight winning streak but earned her the respect of the fans. She now has an 8-2 pro MMA record.
