  • Jon Jones got some fans concerned about his toe in recent training clip
  • “Bones” might consider retiring after UFC 309

Some online MMA fans speculate that Jon Jones is suffering from a toe injury heading into UFC 309.

Something’s wrong with Jon’s toe?

Jones is just less than two weeks away from making his UFC return and has been training hard with his team. However, in a recent training clip, some fans noticed that the reigning UFC heavyweight champion’s toe is hurt.

In the video, Jones could be seen doing some pad work with his trainers. While nothing seemed unusual, some fans couldn’t help but assume that the band wrapped on his toe is due to an injury.

Here’s what some of them had to say:

“Is his toe a balloon?”

“STOMP THAT TOE STIPE!!”

“Toes 👀”

“The sonnen toe still damaged I see”

Jones vs. Ngannou could finally happen

Jones has previously stated that there’s a great chance he’d consider retiring after he beats Stipe Miocic at UFC 309. However, former UFC heavyweight champion Francis Ngannou is still hoping he and “Bones” will finally face each other in the near future. In fact, “The Predator” hinted that there are people who could help make the fight happen once and for all.

Jones will try and defend his heavyweight title for the first time since capturing it at UFC 285. On the other hand, Miocic will look to reclaim his title and prevent “Bones” from cementing his status as arguably the greatest fighter of all time.

UFC 309 will take place on Nov. 16th at Madison Square Garden in New York.
