Esther Lin’s ‘Focus on UFC 162’ will bring back those memories you’ve struggled to forget

I’m always reluctant to say a person is great at what they do. Greatness can be achieved by random luck in many cases and will never be achieved again. You see it all the time in music, movies, television — for whatever reason people create greatness and can never reach that level again. I’m always a pessimist when anyone puts out any form of art and the world deems it as brilliant. I want to see that same greatness repeated in controlled situations before the proclamation can be made that it’s in fact ‘great.’

With all that in mind, I can say without a shred of doubt that Esther Lin (@allelbows) is the greatest mixed martial arts photographer of all time. She is the best and there isn’t even a close second. Her pictures tell a beautiful story that can’t be described in words, the expressions she captures are second to none.

She recently started a series called ‘Focus’ in which she takes a look at the photos she captured for a particular event — this time with UFC 162. Check it out.
