The key women's flyweight bout is off the Philadelphia card for now, though officials could still rebook the matchup.

Erin Blanchfield has withdrawn from her scheduled UFC 330 fight with Jasmine Jasudavicius because of a minor injury, taking one of the card’s most important women’s flyweight bouts off the lineup for now.

The matchup had been booked for UFC 330 in Philadelphia, where Islam Makhachev is scheduled to defend the welterweight title against Ian Machado Garry in the main event. Blanchfield vs. Jasudavicius carried contender stakes at 125 pounds, with Blanchfield sitting near the top of the division and Jasudavicius pushing into the title conversation after a strong run.

According to the report, officials are looking at the possibility of rebooking the fight for another event rather than moving on from the pairing. That keeps the bout alive, but it still removes a meaningful ranked fight from a card already built around championship stakes.

Blanchfield entered this booking off consecutive wins over Tracy Cortez and Rose Namajunas, the latter coming in a five-round main event at UFC Edmonton. That rebound followed her first UFC loss, a decision defeat to Manon Fiorot, and put her back in range of a title eliminator.

Jasudavicius had also been climbing steadily. MiddleEasy spoke with her earlier this year before her Jessica Andrade matchup, and her recent form made the Blanchfield fight a chance to break further into the top tier of the division.

UFC 330 remains headlined by Makhachev vs. Garry, a bout that has already produced months of buildup around Garry’s grappling defense and Makhachev’s move through weight classes. MiddleEasy previously covered Garry saying Makhachev’s grappling can suffocate opponents, but that he believes he has the tools to survive and win.
