Eddie Yagin just beat Mark Hominick and gave him his second face hemotoma

Mark Hominick and Eddie Yagin just spent 9 minutes remodeling each other’s faces at UFC 145. Eddie Yagin rocked Mark Hominck in the first round a couple of times with some pretty big overhand rights. As the second round went on and Yagin continuously connected with Mark Hominick’s face, you could actually watch the slow progression of the hemotoma growing under Hominick’s eye. At one point the hemotoma appeared to split in two and then fuse back together like some sort of animal with regeneration abilities.

Hominick started to get his rhythm and back in the second round and his fists made Eddie Yagin’s nose and mouth look like some sort of bloody slingshot. Thick rubbery bands of blood were slinging everywhere as Hominick laid into Yagin, but Yagin kept pressing forward. The two spent the next round and a half turning the Octagon into a hemophiliac’s worst nightmare. Yagin walked away with the split decision victory and Mark Hominicak walked away with a hemotoma only slightly smaller than the one Jose Aldo gave him last April.
