Eddie Hall, best known for being the world’s strongest man, made his mixed martial arts debut at KSW 105 in Gliwice, Poland, on Saturday.
Stepping inside the cage with Hall was Polish powerhouse Mariusz Pudzianowski, a 26-fight veteran in MMA with 12 career finishes to his credit and more than a decade’s worth of experience. That’s on top of being a five-time World’s Strongest Man winner.
Round 1
Hall comes out swinging almost immediately in the opening round and catches Pudzianowski with a couple of right hands that send him stumbling back towards the cage wall. Pudzianowski attempts to clinch, but Hall punishes him with hammer fists that inevitably send Pudzianowski crashing to the canvas. Pudzianowski desperately tries to take Hall down, driving him to the other side of the cage, but Hall brushes him off and drops bombs, forcing the referee to step in and call for the stoppage 30 seconds into the scrap.
Official Result: Eddie Hall def. Mariusz Pudzianowski via TKO (ground and pound) at 0:30 of Round 1
