Eddie Alvarez has no plan B, and that’s coincidentally the name of his new documentary

Earning the top spot in our countdown of the Top Ten Fades in MMA is no easy feat. It’s actually a culmination of countless hours spent on a barber’s chair while a skilled craftsman molds your hair into the optimal level of density to look smoother than the individuals around you. While most people stop at their heads, Eddie Alvarez takes it to a whole other level by moving on to giving his eyebrows a matching fade. I’ve seen it in person – and not only does Eddie know his hair is better looking than the rest of the folks on his fight cards, he’s flaunts it. Unfortunately for the Philly fighter, Michael Chandler was able to swipe his belt at their last meeting in Bellator, and Eddie is trying to figure out what’s next for him. It’s uncertain whether he re-enters the organization’s season six lightweight tournament at this juncture, but there is no ‘plan b’ as to what he’s going to do with his career. Being a hair model, regrettably, is not an option. This documentary about what it’s like to get to where his is, and how he maintains his level of dominance outside the UFC is brilliantly depicted in the trailer for his new film appropriately titled “No Plan B”.
