Eddie Alvarez gives us his thoughts on the WSOF and his teammates, the Blackzilians

Eddie Alvarez probably felt like a relaxed Iron Man watching the Avengers wipe the floor with alien invaders as he witnessed his Blackzilian supergroup of friends beat dudes up left and right at the World Series of Fighting over the weekend. GZ Cavalcante grabbing the heelhook win in over a minute probably made Eddie smile and flash his fade, but to have his entire stable go undefeated with Spong and Anthony Johnson demolishing their opponents in ‘of the year’ fashion probably made Eddie clap his hands and bust out some slick dance moves cageside. It doesn’t get much better than the Blackzilians on Saturday night.

We caught up with the former Bellator lightweight champion and current top free agent after the WSOF over the weekend so he could share his thoughts on his Blackzilian teammates and his contract situation between Bellator and the UFC. It turns out on Friday Bellator officially allowed Eddie to explore outside options to expedite the free agent process. Click ‘read more’ to watch the video, and get caught up with Eddie Alvarez.
