Ed Soares talks about his love for hip-hop and how Biggie is the greatest rapper of all time

Last night I found myself sitting with Martijn de Jong and a few other Dutch dudes in the middle of a Vegan restaurant in Hollywood, which also had Davey Havok from AFI, that ghost chick from the BBC version of ‘Being Human,’ and Nicki Minaj inside the same facility. She actually changed tables when she overheard Martijn whisper ‘That’s Nicki Minaj’ — but that’s beyond the point. Before she became the strange, plastic-inspired humanoid creature she is now — Nicki Minaj was actually a pretty decent rapper from Queens, NY that used to freestyle on the street.

If you didn’t know this, then Ed Soares probably did. Now what you didn’t know about the agent to the best Brazilian fighters in UFC and owner of RFA is that he’s a pretty adequate hip-hop aficionado. @LayzieTheSavage caught up with him to talk about how he used to manage a couple hip-hop groups, his run-in with 2pac, and how Biggie Smalls is still the greatest rapper of all time. Check it out.
