Eagle FC’s broadcast team will be star-studded once again.
‘The Dream Team’
Khabib Nurmagomedov’s MMA promotion returns to the United States this Friday, along with their broadcast team for their U.S. debut. Yes, you heard that right. The trio is back. Chael Sonnen will be joined by UFC Champions Kamaru Usman and Henry Cejudo this weekend.
Sonnen, Cejudo and Usman will commentate at Eagle FC 46, which is headlined by Kevin Lee and Diego Sanchez. The rest of the broadcast team for the night includes Cyrus Fees and Johanna Gomez.
First Appearance
The UFC stars made their promotional broadcast debut at Eagle FC 44 last January. Sonnen and Cejudo would be commentating from the broadcast booth all night long, with Usman joining them later on. Fees was also featured as a commentator, with Gomez being a roving reporter.
Cejudo would enter the cage not as a fighter, but as a broadcaster. ‘Triple C’ would handle post-fight interviews with the winner of each fight. All in all, he didn’t do too bad for his first day on the job.
They’ll look to do even a better job the second time around at Eagle FC 46. Before the action starts, the trio was joined by the boss man himself, Khabib Nurmagomedov, for a special preview show. You can watch it below.
