Condit returned after 16 months of hiatus and suffered a unanimous decision loss to Neil Magny at UFC 219.
Matt Brown, recently defeated veteran Diego Sanchez via knockout (elbow) back at UFC Fight Night 120 to claim his first win since 2015. Brown announced his retirement after besting Sanchez but apparently had second thoughts when Condit was offered as an opponent.
