Dustin Poirier Wants Ferguson Or McGregor Next, Calls UFC “#1 Bullsh*t”

Dustin Poirier Interested In Matches Against Tony Ferguson And Conor McGregor Otherwise He Won’t Fight, Trashes UFC

Since his return at Lightweight in 2015, Dustin Poirier earned a score of 8 wins, 1 loss, and one no contest. But despite his great results, he wasn’t granted with a title shot yet.

Dustin Poirier wants to meet Conor McGregor or Tony Ferguson next. He also trashes UFC. Look at his tweets.

It’s gotta be Tony or Conor or we redo my contract. Otherwise I’m not fighting. This company is #1 bullshit

At this point if you dont respect the body of work I put in. I don’t respect you.

A fan asked Dustin Poirier if he would accept the match versus rising star Al Iaquinta, who earned the second win over Kevin Lee at UFC on Fox 31. Look at his response below.

“With all do respect to him and his team the answer is no. Unless we make a different deal with the UFC” Poirier’s tweet read.

Dustin Poirier is on a hot streak at the moment, with three TKO victories in a row over Anthony Pettis, the former WSOF champ Justin Gaethje, and Eddie Alvarez, whom he defeated at UFC On Fox 30, on July 28, 2018. Poirier hasn’t fought since.

“The Diamond” was set to meet TUF 5 winner Nate Diaz at UFC 230 on November 3, 2018. Unfortunately, “The Diamond” suffered an injury, and he was forced to pull out.

Breaking: Dustin Poirier has suffered an undisclosed injury, per multiple sources. He is off UFC 230 co-main event against Nate Diaz in New York.

The current UFC Lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov received a nine-month suspension for his role at UFC 229 post-fight incident, which could be reduced if he successfully completes an anti-bullying program. Conor McGregor was slapped with six months outside of Octagon too.

Since Khabib and Conor are punished by NSAC at the moment, the fight between #1 Tony Ferguson and #3 Dustin Poirier might be the next logical move. But will UFC let it happen? What are your thoughts on Poirier’s tweets?
