Current Interim UFC Lightweight Champion Dustin Poirier Sent A Location To Khabib

Earlier today UFC announced a five-year agreement partnership with the Abu Dhabi Department of Culture and Tourism (DCT). That partnership will commence with an upcoming UFC 242 PPV MMA event which will go down on September 7th.

The lineup for UFC 242 hasn’t revealed yet, but the plan current UFC lightweight champion Khabib Nurmagomedov who’s serving his UFC 229 suspension will make his return where he’ll defend his title against Dustin Poirier.

Dana White had confirmed previously that he’s looking to book a title fight between Khabib and Poirier in September.

After the announcement of UFC’s partnership with DCT, Dustin Poirier took to his social media account where he sent out a cryptic message captioning ‘Location sent.’

Poirier is coming off a hard-fought five-round decision win in an interim title fight against Max Holloway at UFC 236 earlier this month from Georgia Atlanta.
