  • It wasn’t the first time the Canadian rapper wagered a huge bet against “Stillknocks”

Dricus du Plessis trolled Drake for betting on Israel Adesanya and against him once again.

Thanks Drake

The famous rapper and UFC fan has been a proud Izzy fan and it was no surprise that he wagered yet another massive bet on Adesanya at UFC 305. Drake posted a screenshot of his $450,000 bet on “The Last Stylebender” to beat Du Plessis in their middleweight title fight. Unfortunately for Drake, “Stillknocks” ended up finishing Adesanya via submission in the fourth round.

On his official X account, Du Plessis did not fail to let Drake know that he made a huge mistake betting against him.

“From the bottom of my heart once again THANK YOU @Drake,” Du Plessis wrote.

In Du Plessis’ title fight with Sean Strickland at UFC 297, Drake also wagered against him and lost a whopping $700,000. The same thing happened when the Canadian rapper wagered nearly a million on Adesanya to beat Strickland.

Du Plessis wants what the fans want

Shortly after defending his belt, Du Plessis was called out by light heavyweight champion Alex Pereira. While the idea seems exciting, “Stillknocks” said he would have to give the fans what they want first and that’s a title fight with Strickland.

Du Plessis then declared that after beating “Tarzan,” he’ll move up to 205 to take on “Poatan” so Pereira doesn’t have to make excuses about cutting too much weight.
